WHO WE ARE AND WHERE WE CAME FROM
Bob’s Auto Glass was originally started by my dad, Bob Davis, in 1998. Bob had been doing windshield repairs since 1986 with Novus and then Fas-Break before going independent. Bob’s dream was to build a legacy for his children as being the best. Not in size or number of employees but in quality of workmanship
and integrity.
In 2004 Bob became ill and could not work for several months. Bob was the face and salesman for the business, and it took a hit that he could not recover from. I, as his son, had learned the craft and technique of chip and crack repairs but was to young and immature to be an effective salesman. We closed the doors.
In 2005 Bob turned to another passion when he and my mom became over the road truck drivers. They drove for 16 years until he passed in 2021.
In August 2022 I decided to re-open Bob’s Auto Glass in honor of my dad. I had been made aware of the need in our community for someone who knows how to do windshield crack repairs. A skill and technique that my dad was a master of, and that he taught to me. No one else knows or practices windshield crack repairs the Billings area.
Bob’s Auto Glass is a completely mobile operation that does windshield repairs only and specializes in crack repairs up to 24 inches long. Our primary focus is to deliver superior repairs to both individuals and fleet accounts such as car dealerships, rental car companies, trucking companies, and body shops.
I have worked in the auto glass business since I was 14. First with my dad and then with other shops in the Billings area. I have done both installs and repairs. My passion is repairs.
